Does anyone have a source for Michelin XML's???

I can't seem to find anyone that can actually sell me a Michelin XML 325/85R16. I blew one out last night, so I need one (or two) to make a complete set. It only needs to be around 50% tread, so you wouldn't think it would be that hard to find.

They're hard to find now. The Marines are using the heck out of them on the LAV's. budgets are tighter. They don't have zillions of tires in the system to replace perfectly good tires with.

I am running michelin 11x16 which I think were the precursor to those. I think they went to the wider ones you want because of the sand. Just what I was told.

You would be correct. The 11.00R16's were replaced around 10 years ago.

I had agreed to buy these, and was going to go down and pick them up tomorrow, but now the guy isn't responding to my emails, and he never gave me a phone, or an address. I doubt anyone on here actually knows the guy who has these?

Yeah, I figured it was a less than 1% chance that anyone actually knew the guy, but it was worth a shot. Doesn't matter though, he emailed me this morning. He wasn't getting my replies, but he did this morning and I convinced him to switch to text messages. I'm East bound and down (mostly down) right now to go pick them up.
