Does your Blazer suck in the snow/ice

Haven't used the Blazer this season yet, but a few years ago, it handled great in the snow. Weight was distributed pretty evenly front to rear, and I was running my 37 x 12.5 Swamper SSRs. 2WD most of the time too, but I will usually leave the hubs locked incase I need the 4WD.

Studded tire laws very state to state.. legal here from November to April, though I don't know why, at least on this side of the state. Myself, chains will get me anywhere I want to go.

My blazer was fine in the snow, so long as you took it slow and steady.
A few years back during a snow storm that closed down rt17 here in Jersey, I drove up to Ramapo college and "rescued" my ex from there, as she woulda been stuck there over the weekend.
All the cars were pulled over or bunched up plodding along barely, but I just kept on truckin.
we got a good foot and a half over the night. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't driving 50+ on 17 by myself. Nice steady 30 got me there, and kept me toasty with the engine heat..
.. god I miss that truck so.
