Doing 52's up front with Bilsteins, 255/70 a good valving? Also, Furd shock tower mounting ?'s too.

Got the 12" ones oredered.

Is anyone even running the shock boot on these? I move heard they do more damage than good by trapping moisture and dirt in them.

No boots. The problems comes with mud and sand, otherwise it's just a personal choice not to run them.
You will be happy with the 12s. I have 14s in the back but the mounting is far from stock LOL.

What is your concern about the front driveshaft? I have (what I think are) 1350 CV with 1350 at the axle on the front. IIRC it's the non-coated big slip/spline, like 7 or 8". I don't bind the U-joints at full droop. The slip is plenty long. I have my axle moved forward about 2", run ORD 52s, about 5" lift AND the T-case is clocked flat. Lots of angles but it's been good so far.

After reading all this, I'm feeling good about the 12" 7100s I bought for when i redo my suspension. I was wishing they where 14" for a while but realizing now I did good.

Yeah, I have a set of 14" 5100s sitting on a shelf now because they just didn't have any up travel. A cheap gamble that didn't pay off.

Said I'd post up pics when i got everything on.

14" travel up front and 12" travel in the rear.

I set the shock towers up to give me 6" of up-travel in the front. Hopefully that is enough.

The rear has more up-travel. Can't remember exactly what it was but somewhere between 6.5" and 7.5".
