How hard is it to replace the door glass weatherstrip? Does the glass have to be removed or can the weatherstrip be sneaked out and back in with the glass in place (window down obviously).

its a little fun but should be doable with glass down and possible dorr panel off.

just had a door apart month or so ago for a power to man swap and there was lots of room.

but this was a older door and weather strip stuff was older .

I had fully intended to have the door panel off to help ease my pain. :thumb:

Its easy... just rool the window down, unbolt the channels and slide them upwards, install the weatherstrip and then slide them back in.

Run Channels or 'cat whiskers'? I have done alot of these in our auto glass shop and can tell you it's not that bad.

Who makes good glass channel felts or whiskers? I need them for my tailgate and eventually the doors...LMC seems to only sell the channels with the stuff already in them.
