my interior is “red” according to LMC.
But what is the actual “red” color, as in rattle-can equivalent? It’s more burgundy. Id like to touch up the panels, rattle can. Lmc wants $189 for this part, locally the used one are all for electric window.

This is google image, my interior is used.
Thanks

That particular picture is carmine red. Usa1 has excellent oem matching paint.

Ill check it out. I cant seem to find “carmine red” for rustoleum or krylon. I also didnt find carmine red paint on usa1 either

The prices these outfits charge for plastic and vinyl is insane.

I currently have no carpet, just bare metal, which is fine.

I’d kind of like to throw some insulation and carpet.
You guys think black carpet would be fine? Im not too much of a fan of that carmine red carpet.

I have heat and sound deadening material under my carpet.

This but black carpet... that red wont stand a chance with 3 kids and the desert

I have that maroon red interior with a black carpet and it works well.

Here it is with a reproduction bench seat cover:

And here it is after I had a professional upholstery shop redo the bench seat. I had them use black vinyl and a slightly darker velour to bring in the black carpet better:

I will say that finding a vinyl dye spray that matches the Carmine red perfectly is impossible. Some brands are too red, some are too purple. I say buy a few brands spray some test pieces and pick out the shade you like best or think matches best and spray all the interior panels to match.

Ive already purchased a few “reds” none work. Thats why Im leaning towards turning it all black.

Bringing back an old thread on this. I just ran into the wrong color of door panels. Correct on the left, wrong on the right (almost a brown). Any idea where to get the correct color of door panel? I need a dark red or maroon color but not a bright red. LMC has red ones in stock but that might be bright red. I'd try to use the ones on the left but they are badly faded on top with a huge hole and edge is torn up too.

Basically same red as these door panels is what I need:

Have you looked at Rock auto I find the interior carpets and panels are the same brands and part numbers as other places, but rock auto's prices are better.

Thanks I will take a look there too.

These are DashTop door panels. The problem is they have so many shades and its hard to make out what color matches the factory ones. The wrong ones I got were burgandy which is too dark with a brown. Thinking Red OE-3

Checked Rock, all they carry is Coverlay which is the wrong panel if you have the alum. inserts.

Oh well. have you had your wife or lady friend look at the colors?
Women see colors way different then men.
My wife is picking paint for our common areas of the house. Keeps asking me which yellow I like, they all look the same to me

Can you just call and talk with them? I know GM had at least two different shades of red interiors on these, perhaps the vendor knows what is correct. if they are in the business they should know what color is right for which years (so I think lol), as the difference was year, not option AFAIK.
