Drag strip with the truck...

If i ever upgrade its gonna be a 465 or a th400... i like the quick shifts of an auto and the better acceleration but i would take the 465 over any auto any day.

eh my trail rig is getting a TH350. For the simple reason of closer gear ratios. THe 465 is great, you can shift it fast, but the gear ratios are still spaced miles apart, waste of power if you want to rip.

My burb isn't a hot rod but the motor is healthy. It rips through creeper and 2nd gear but 3rd bogs unless I really wind 2nd up.

Yeah 6:1 first gear would be nice to have... I like the 3. somethin to 1 first on the 700r4 but if i stood on it from go my stock 350 would fall over itself hard unless i threw it into low. I got outran by a xr50 when i bogged comin off the line. :grin:

35's and stock gearing weren't helping tho.

what kind of power is your stroker makin?

35s with any gear arent helping. heavy rotating mass sucks.

Yes they are, but if you know how to drive it, you can shift through them VERY quick!
