the tie rod and the draglink are both shorter or just one?
one more stupid question. if i did buy a flattop knuckle, i would only need the pass side right? unless i wanted to do hi-steer correct?

You'd want to get both knuckles, the 76 and older D44 knuckles have the tie rod on top of the knuckle and the nut on the bottom, the 10 bolt knuckles (and '77 and newer D44 knuckles) have the nut on the top. If you only swap the one, your tie rod won't be level.

Forgot about thatHe doesnt need both...
He is running Rod ends, so just needs to drill both knuckles to 7/8

At 219 for the 10b/d44 would these knuckles be what he is looking for to make the safe x-over steering?
