Little ones I usually chuck in a bin until there’s 30 or so. Sharpen them all at once. Bit ones I sharpen before I use them if they need an edgeReally interested in this thread, usually I just go buy a new one...
That's what one of our guys here does. He doesn't like using the Drill Doctor.I sharpen mine on the side of a cutoff disk. I’ve become pretty good at it.
Honestly, I’ve never had the chance to try one. That's what one of our guys here does. He doesn't like using the Drill Doctor.
Same here. I have tried and tried to hand sharpen them but I just can’t get them right. I can’t sharpen knives on a flat stone either, pretty pathetic but it is what is.I voted disposable, but that's really not true. I will just buy a new drill bit, but I also don't throw away the dull one. So I just collect more and more drill bits.
We have the Drill Doctor for the business, but no one uses it. We just have a box full of dull bits that never get sharpened.
I want one of those but can’t justify the price for just garage use.Drill Doctor 750X for me.
AND THIS really overpriced set of drawers ( don't worry it was a gift )

When I'm working on stuff I just toss dull bits on top, then have a sharpening party when I get a few.
