I should clarify, I was talking about the drill bit drawer.I want one of those but can’t justify the price for just garage use.
This is something as a machinist apprentice that I'd appreciate learning how to do.Being a machinist by trade, I hand sharpen my drill bits.
Best is when someone breaks a bit and losses their mind and you say hold on. Sharpen it up and they look at you like your MacGyver.
I hand sharpen, but lately I've been buying the big sets from harbor freight and I just put aside any dull bits.Who’s do you use?
How do you sharpen them?
Never use step bits.Wait HF bits come full. Unless they've upped their game. Their step bits are crap iirc
The China Freight Bauer bits are pretty decent for the price. Believe they are actually made in Taiwan when I grabbed them. Project Farm had an entertaining video on drill bits.Wait HF bits come full. Unless they've upped their game. Their step bits are crap iirc
