Thanks guys. This year in Moab I unloaded and loaded every day for the first time because of the trails we choose. I had had enough by the end of the weekend. I came home and torn them off. Norby drives over his, and Yates(blue yota) drives between his even with his full size bronco. Decided I wanted to be more like Yates this time.
i am planning on doing the exact same thing to our tri axle, looks very nice. you got any closer pictures? maybe some from the under side where your width extensitions are braced to the original trailer? more details on the fenders them self? i like the tractions bars across the fenders, definetly stealing that idea
These are the only pictures I have. I used 2"x2" square tubing to widen the trailer to the width of the stock fenders then I angled some 1"x1" square tubing from the edge of the 2"x2" tubing to the frame. Filled it in with expanded metal, really strong. I used the stock fenders and just put 3"x3" angle iron on the inside rail of the fender the 2"x2" angle iron around the out side of the fender. I used 1"x1" angle iron for traction bars & for protection for the new clearance lights. Turned out pretty strong!
