Hello all,
I put my 4" lift (block rear) on my 87 k5. It came off a friends K5. When I put it on, I get a very bad driveline binding/shudder when I stop. It's definitely not brakes. I have changed the angle on the pinion, and I can stop the braking problem, but then I get a vibration problem. This didn't happen on my friends K5 when the lift was on his.
Extra Fact: My stock suspension had sagged such that when I put the 4" springs on front it raised my k5 6". My only guess is that my stock springs have sagged so much in the rear that it is causing the pinion to be at the wrong angle. That's just my best guess, because I can't think what else could be going on.
Anyone have ideas or experience?
Thanks,
Brandon
