Driver angle

Yea the rear driveshaft was at a pretty extreme angle at the slip yoke and the front shaft wouldn't even bolt up. So I'll actually need to replace both shafts
 
Without dropping it the shafts would have bound up while driving because of the angle the yokes would've been at.

Seems excessive for a 4" lift. Did you even try it without dropping the transfer case?

If the yokes are hitting at static height, dropping the T-case is not enough relief to account for droop or even hard braking. With a Blazer lifted 4", you might be around 13 degrees in the yokes. That's not enough to bind, but will probably never be perfectly smooth.
 
Well my biggest reason for dropping tc was the front shaft wouldn't bolt up in stock position after the lift was installed. The front slip yoke was fully extended and was lacking an inch and a half to the diff
 
A t-case drop isn't the solution you are looking for, you need a longer front driveshaft.
 
And that's what I'll do when the funds are available but for now a tc drop is what I'm doing
 
I put a 4 inch lift on and still had some vibration. I have a 14 bolt in the rear so that might have played a factor. It seems to vary from truck to truck.
 
Yes I'm sure I bought a 4". Bought it from Rough Country myself. Not second hand. I just read and did what the instructions said to do. Yes they are stock axles. Like I said before I dropped the tc because front shaft wouldnt even bolt up. Yes the instructions say to drop it regardless but that's the issue I ran into.
 
Ah. Rough Country lifts tend to raise it higher than advertised.
