driver side drop tansfercase

I'm having trouble finding the answer...
what driver side drop transfer case will fit behind an earlier 700r4 (I think 27 spline)

and what driver side drop transfer cases fit the later 700r4s(not talking bout 4l60e or 4l80e)?

I think a np241 from a 90's truck should work

GM went driver's drop when they switched to IFS. Early 90's is your best bet.

241 in the full size, 231 i the S10 with a 4.3, I think.

Either t-case will bolt to either tranny. The adaptor is where the difference is.

yea 241 or 243 will work... doubt you will want an electric shift 243 though

Exactly. 231 in S10 is a 5 bolt adapter. 241 is 6 bolt.

If you're looking to buy one the Pick N Pull in Newark has a 93 burb there as of saturday with the driver drop 241 case still in it.
