I am plugging in a fixed yoke 205 to replace my current 203. I have a 14b FF rear installed from a 3/4 ton truck. I need to replace my rear driveshaft. Is there a donor shaft out there to accomplish this without having to have one built? Ofcourse my shaft is way to short to get-ir-done.

At rest my rear shaft would be about 43" long

The 203 is 23" and the 205 is 15" app.

Good question. I needed to ask the same thing. I had the shafts but they were beat to death so I threw them away. Now I don't know the length. (for a k5)

What kind of rear output do you have? If it is a slipyoke t/c, I have one out of a suburban you can have. :pimp: It will need to be shortened, of course.

If the 205 uses the same series ujoint (example 1310) just remove the slip yolk from the ujoint. The shops around here (Phoenix) charge around $60 to $80 to retube the shaft to the right length.
