yea i just took a class at the college about a year ago and did all my work there. thats the way to go.

so you can use D60 stub shafts as the driveshaft ends? I read that attached thread about square tube shafts and saw that one guy was using them. what would you use as tcase yoke and pinion yoke? 1410 yokes?

I am also looking for a little more clarification on this.

Over a grand $$ for some driveshafts, not on my rig ever! My rear is a stock 1350 slip yoke style (for a 241 t-case) out of a Suburban that was simply cut down to the right length which I bought off this board, with new Spicer joints. Front is a stock piece. Total price was $50. I also keep a spare stock front shaft, and the stock rear one with just the conversion joint in it. Maybe I'm lucky, but I've been wheeling for 10 years with no problems, and not just dirt roads and mud holes either as there are places my locked 1-tons and 40's can't go.

A friend found a 2 piece shaft with 1410's in the junkyard and had it cut down so now he has front and rear shafts with 1410's for the cost of having a shop cut them down and the price of yokes.

Wheres the best place for drive shaft parts if your going to make them?
