I am going to be putting in my aux. trans in soon, and was wondering, is it possible to use the front piece of my 2 piece driveshaft, along with the slip yoke from the rear, as a one piece rear driveshaft? I am only wondering because the stub shaft seems pretty long. And of course, I will be taking off the center bearing prior to using it.

Thanks,

Nick

If I understand you correctly you have what's called a slip style midship- and it should be possible- here's a pic just to make sure were on the same page- the bottom one is a slip style carrier or midship- Good luck- Jess
