Got the driveshaft out of the K5 today. It was connected to my 14 Bolt and my NP205. The driveshaft appears to be a Constant Velocity type. The shaft, or at least the CV part, is Spicer and the number C3-26-189 is stamped below the stamped word "Spicer."

The opposite side of the CV joint has the raised number 32371 and possibly 1T3 D3 stamped.

The differential side has the number 3282 stamped.

Photos provided and any info is appreciated.

Looking to decide to keep this one and replace the necessary parts or source out a new and improved one.

468 BB Chevy engine but looking to make it stronger. I have 4.11 gears

Agreed but it just looks kinda small. Wondering if I need a bigger one for the engine I have

I did find the double yolk has the part number C3-26-189 is actually Spicer part number 3-26-757 and is only the yolk and not any part of the driveshaft. Guess the shaft itself could be any size.

Thats a 1350 series which is your typical light duty 3/4 and 1 tons which is probably more than sufficient for what youre working with.

The Ford Super Duty use the same setup on their front shafts.
