hey guys, i need to take my rear driveshaft off to lengthen it. so far i have the rear part disconnected from the axle. what do i have to do for the part that is connected to the transfer case? (its a np208) can i just pull the slip yoke out still connected to the driveshaft and take it to get lengthed like that?

sorry if my question sounds stupid, but i dunno what to do??

thanks for the help in advance

yep, just pull it out. some atf might come out when you do. depending if your doing this in your driveway.

FIXED IT ---- :D

all i can add is you will need to top off the 208 after you put in you longer drive shaft

i think 2qts will come out of the 208 when you pull the yoke out get a oil pan under it

good luck :D
