Well crossover is just way too much money. Where can I get a drop pitman arm to correct the 4/5" of lift I have on my truck?

? How could adjusting my steering back to where it sits stock hurt? I want to get the angle off my draglink. I wish I had the money for crossover but I just dont.

most of the big manufactureers of lifts have them.i think under a hundred bucks also.rough country has one that comes with their kit.you could prob get it from summit or four wheel parts.it definitely helps.and if you are like me money is always tight.this is a bolt in fix.ive had mine in for 8 yrs and havnt had any binding problems.4 inch lift doesnt really need more that a 2 inch drop drag link.i believe that is what mine is.

My bad, I read your first post as if you had a 4/5" lift (i.e. .8"). I guess that's the engineering school talking :doah:

If you have 4" or 5" of lift, a drop pitman arm or raised steering arm will help.

Lol.

Yeah 4 OR 5 in :D

Summit wants $110 for one. Is that a good price?

its been 8 yrs since i bought mine.i think it was 80 bucks then.so i think that is about right.check 4 wheel parts also.they may have one for cheaper.or one of the vendors from this site may be able to give oyu a better deal.

Superlift makes a good push-pull dropped pittman. It worked well on my rig - I actually have steering now unless I really drop the lt frt wheel. It was a good compromise until I bite the bullet and go crossover.

Check the classifieds on here, they usually sell for about $50 shipped. for a raised steering arm.

Raised steering arm would be better for you. Its cheaper and closer to your amount of lift.

A drop steering arm is advertised at 2" but is actually a true 1.5" drop. Only Skyjacker makes them. I have bought a few from them and they go for around $75-$80 before shipping.

Stick with the raised steering arm. It will get your drag link closer to level than the pitman arm will.

I would use a raised arm instead.

Get ready for the (how do I get the steering arm off??) thread:D

I have 6" BDS springs and I did a raised steering arm and a dropper pitman and mu drag link is level and steers well.
