Sooooo...... what did the builder say you would end up with? What was he shooting for?

I keep thinking about selling some stuff to build the motor I have.:doah:

Shooting for maybe 400-450 horse :D

Oh well i guess it'll be a little better than regular gas :haha:

You should have went backwards...

Put a 350 crank in the 400...make it a 377 :D

Spin it very high.....
My dads got one of those under the bench in his garage. Worse comes to worse it'll go in my new/old truck :D

Just gotta put in a replacement so nothing looks suspicious

A friend here has a 434cid small block was around $10k to have it built............

it CAN spin very high ;)

what would that be?? 454 with a smaller crank??

I'm stupid when it comes to built motors. Hell i run stock until it blows then buy another one :haha:I am hell on motors though

No its a stroked 400 SBC. I don't recall the specific specs on it though. big aluminum heads, all forged balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly. Eagle I think.

on the engine dyno at the builder it did well into 550 fwhp.
