Dual Tail Pipe Tips Placement GOT PICS???

Yeah, I know it will have to moved when I redo my lift. Sucks, but I didn't have much of another option at the time since half my crap fell off and I ran over my old muffler... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Worked good with 2-1/4" exhaust, but the 3" can't be tucked up as high in the fender opening....

I'm going to leave it outside of the frame, but run it towards the rear bumper, and dump just under the sheetmetal and before the bumper.

Duals could easily be run the same way, just looks like the passenger side would take a little extra bending.

Steve - I think I see your ear in that picture /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

[/ QUOTE ]How loud is it in the truck going down the road ??? I like the infront of the rear tire look, and have done that on alot of cars, but it does get noisy.

theres the drivers side the passenger side is the same.
it angles down in the pic but when the final hangers were placed it runs even with the frame rail.

Its not too loud, especially if the back window is shut. If its open (how i have it usually) you can hear it. Its only when you start gettin up 75-85mph (not that ive ever been there /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif) that it starts getting too loud. Now if you are next to me or behind me you are on your own. Friend of mine going down interstate one day was behind me said ITS SOOO LOUD! then he got next to me and i layed into it he said it was really loud. Sittin at a stop light he also said the concussions from the exhaust were shakin his car. I like it, cops havent said a word about it. If it gets too loud, crank up the radio.
