dual transfer case trouble... *PICS* am i missing a gear?

I do not have a doubler but there should be a gear on the shaft in the first picture. It is quite large. You had to remove it from the shaft in the 203 I believe. It engages with the small gear you see in the right of the case in the second picture. I will see if I can find some pics on the net to explain what I am saying.
It should look like this

Here you go about half way down it shows the gear to put on the shaft from ORD

found my old gear! ha, ok, now is there a pin that holds it in? I'll check the article right now

Ya that gear is low range and if its not there, you get two neutrals and one high range. If you can't find teh partss let me or sullivan know, i'm sure we coudl scrounge up what you need, although i wont lie, it would take me a couple weeks to get up to where my last 203 lies.

BTW i have your Big Dawg Hat, Mike Left it here in Feb. I just found it in the hall closet. Let me know when you'll make it to a meting or run and i'll bring it.

thanks! i got the gear installed and am bolting it all back together. and leland, i hope to make a sept run, maybe oct at the latest!

Wow, you forgot a gear :doah:

I sat looking at my doubler paperwork trying to think of what might be wrong
, I have to say I didn't see that one coming!

Glad it all worked out

Jeff

Quasi-hijack, somebody makes knobs for the doubler setup that I think are billet and are labeled for each one. Anybody remember who?
