Dumb question.......

1984 K5 , was poking arin under dash and seen a box above brake pedal that looks like a ECU, but I removed the ECU that was near glove box. What's this box above brake pedal ?

The wiper delay module only allows the delay function.

Yes, if you bypass the module by plugging the two connectors together. If you just unplug it, there will be no wipers.

I wouldn’t bypass the delay module it’s kinda nice when they actually delay but as far as cc there was a bunch of stuff I deleted on with my ‘84 including a little yellow box and photo eye at the back of the speedometer (how it knows the speed). I thought it was pretty interesting for the time period being before fully electronic controlled throttle bodies

If the delay works sure it's nice, thst box is notious for failing. Phantom wipe and stuff.
That yellow box is called drac module, for vss interpretation to run the speedo and ecm signal.
