End of the month. He still has a bunch of wiring and road testing to do, but making progress!

Spoke with Travis. Truck will be driving monday, and ready for delivery next weekend.
Sounds like the last owner of the powertrain pulled a high dollar trans pan off, and when travis noticed the loose stock pan, he investigated.
He found a filter for a deep pan (which was probably removed), but also a billet suncoast TC. Spoke with suncoast, sounds like the trans may have had some suncoast upgrades at some point.
No real way to tell without further tear down, but not a bad deal.

Apparently, this truck was this guy's baby. Travis said the truck had a huge crappy lift, 20's, etc. Was in really good shape until he wrecked it, i guess.
Whether it has a couple or bunch of suncoast parts, i'll call it a win. Just hope the upgrades were proactive rather than reactive.

I have a Suncoast converter in mine you will like it. If he went that far as to put that in I would imagine they did other stuff too. Foolish not to if your pulling it out. I would just have to wonder about what kind of tune is/ was on the motor. With tranny upgrades

If there is a tune on it they will be able to compare it to what should have been a stock tune. That would be the only way to know.
Sounds like the Allison computer wasn't working for some reason, so he is installing a new one. So, i'll have no way of knowing if the trans had a tune in it.
