Duramax Suburban - IFS Rebuild

Mostly it would be intake, exhaust mods if there is any emissions crap there and Evap.. pcv egr etc.. that tag on your core support is what drives them because that's the indicator of what equipment it should have. Also no check engine light..
Yep. In that department, we should be good. Stock as can be.

You should be good.. if you fail it'll be on something stupid.. which I don't see happening if your stock stock..

If its an lb7 they never came with any emissions.

It's not just "emissions" stuff they're checking. Every hose, cover, breather, air filter, PCV, etc......every damn thing must be in it's OE configuration.

Here. Told the guy why I was here, and he said he guessed that's what the inspection was going to be when he saw an 03 suburban from the mountains on the schedule. Says he has inspected 3 similar ones recently.

Seemed like a nice guy. And now....we wait

Fail. Dammit.

A couple things in the computer aren't stock programming. Need GM to reflash it.

Also, I knew I had some intermittent issues with the fuel gauge. Unfortunately, on trucks this new, this is a code in the computer.

Trouble code is an automatic fail.

At least they are items that should' take be impossible to fix.

Really they go over the bins to make sure they match? Wow so glad I don't have to deal with anything like that.

Apparently. If that is what they are called.

Hopefully a sending unit will fix the other code, but we'll see.

Giving Idaho rob at ATP a call in a few to discuss getting my ECM reflashed to stock. F going to the dealer if i don't have to. Stopped at 4 today to see if they could pull it off on a friday afternoon, but no one bit. Glad i got in for the appointment early, i have almost 2 months left to figure this out .
