Anyone know where i can buy brake dust sheilds for 10 bolt, due to living in canada mine rottened off years ago.

Depending on your year of truck lmc truck or some other restoration companies sell new backing plates with new dust shields. The only other option is to post in the for sale forum about wanting then and maybe someone has some used ones they will sell ya for cheap.

If you're talking about the thin metal flappy thing spot-welded to the inside of the backing plate, they are frequently removed out of annoyance :)

LMC only lists the 2WD shields; see

as the 4WD ones are, as mentioned, weld-on. I'm thinking the junkyard, pony up for a membership to use the want-ads here, or just put up without 'em.

No im looking for the front dust shields, or "backing plates" that bolt under your spindles

Well, I removed the dust shields proper from mine, so the backing plates look like this. We are talking about the plate the caliper mounts to? Scary thing to have rust out :eek1:

Doesn't look like these can be had new, so I suspect you're doing Ebay, junkyard, or the wanted forum here.

Harumph. Vaporware, from Ballistic? How surprising.

Can't imagine it'd be cost effective as compared to scrounging a used set. Bling factor, maybe, but again, it's Ballistic.

Yuppers a tease was all it was, Me thinks, but as things go the more scarce things get, (mostly for y'all rust country folks) that's where they'd be able to hook someone IF they ever went into production with em.

Yeah u guess that is one that's not offered. I thought I saw it on there. Maybe gm can still get you a set if they still make them. Otherwise junkyards and others on here may be your only hope.
