I've used the hardware store peel and stick stuff and it does come off easily and degrade over time if it's exposed to heat or sun. Beware if you use it in your vehicle.

I also have dynomat in my s10 doors. I got in an accident and had to replace one of the doors. OMG I'm never going so long again without some kind of product, like 4-5 months long. The music was terrible coming from that side. ugg
