Dynatrac Dynaloc hubs, anybody runnin 'em?

I've seen those. They look nice but NOT $539.00 nice. :D

They've got a couple things going for them in my opinion:
1. made in U.S.A.
2. stick out 1/2" less than stock
3. default to locked
4. I need hubs since I am too lazy to remove pucks from flanges (for street use times), I know I never would do it, LOL!
5. I know my luck with trying to piece stuff together so, Spicers broached to 35 spline would not be an option for me
6. I already broke Teralow hubs in just two wheelin trips, and they are supposedly stronger than Warns so, what other option do I have other that these or Spicers? Since I know I am too lazy for flanges.
7. I could be wrong but, I think they may have Dynatrac's 1 year warranty on them?

I run the 35 spline Warn hubs and I have a detroit up front and I haven't had any issues the the hubs.

How long have you had them for?

I'm just concerned about them since the hubs I got that were purported to be stronger than Warns busted after just two runs! :doah:

I bought them 9/27/02 and once they arrived they got installed along with the stubs and have been in the axle ever since without a single issue.

I do not like the warn hubs at all. I am going back to stock outers till I can get flanges. But this is on a truck with 42s and I wheel it hard. I would like to hear some real world feedback on the dynalocks

Thinking about these for the Jimmy:

Anybody run them yet? Opinions?

Well they say new design, all I see is a replica of the spicer, maybe in stronger material if it's chromoly.
The spicers are stronger than the warns since they don't use pot metal like warn does.
I don't like Warns because they deliberately make the locking hubs the weak point.
I use spicers only and never had problems except the hard engaging because it's 1/8 of a turn just like these dynalocs.:dunno:

I have done some reading on other websites and most agree that the dynalocs are pretty much a copy of the spicer hubs. Allowing of course for 35 spline stubs.

Still haven't really had much real world feedback on em though

I've been wheeling the Dynalocs hard for about 2 years now. I was running drive flanges but wanted to be able to unlock for the street and felt that the Dynalocs were the best solution with very little compromise on strength. No problems at all thus far. They're not cheap, but given your list of criteria I think they're exactly what you're looking for.

I know a cpl people with built jeeps on 42/44's that have broken 35 spline warns on several occasions...when I did my 35 spline upgrade on my d60, I went with mile marker hubs...Was lookin at tha dynatrac as well but couldn't justify tha price...

You really shouldn't be able to break D60 parts on 35s.

ned, from tha guys i talked too @ a local shop that wheel built jeeps on 42's and bigger, they WOULDNT sell me warns because theyve had several failures with them personally...granted they beat em pretty hard...

Heck ssyork blew up a warn premium 35 spline hub on 36s.... along with 60 knuckles, tre, etc...

I used to blew up ford stock hubs on my 60 on a trip by trip basis till I went flanges/35 spline.
