Hardcore wheeling rigs can spend a couple hundred on drive flanges and never worry about them not engaging or breaking
Of course then you get into the discussion of tow rigs and trailers etc and it doesn't look so cheap![]()
I was thinking the same thing but wasn't gonna say anything... at first. I have driven mine upwards of 45 miles a day on highway with flanges without a problem. My dodge has 200,000+ miles without hubs to, granted one shafts is coupled in half.
Running the slugs and never looking back. I worry more about tire wear on the street than running slugs. Ask stormtrooper about heading back to town after running behind the rocks at BB 2010. Just saying
