E-locker for 10.5 14 bolt? Tired of my Detroit Locker

I am curious about the negative handling of the locker. Yea I am aware of mine but it never really gets in the way when I am driving. I know it's idiosyncrasies and try not to roost around corners etc but I don't experience any of the negatives really. I love mine.

Now my front is a different story. I have the limited slip from in my dana 60 and it can be a pain. Very strong but will not really slip much.

I am going to swap it out for an e locker. I really like how those function. Eaton has made a bunch of improvement in strength to the e locker and I am looking forward to true selectable.

I have ran mine fairly hard in the sand. I think it is a plus over a 10 bolt rear axle for sure. Everything is bigger, it has one adjustment nut for setting up the gearing, and is just beefier than a 10 or 12 bolt.

But to be honest, as cheap as a 14bff can be bought, it is far superior in strength, and setting up gears is a breeze due to the removable pinion.

I spent $750 on a detroit for mine, where a FF detroit is like $450.
