Try using the attached Excel spreadsheet for fixing VE tables. The spreadsheet includes the older '7747 $42 and the newer TBI PCM with $OE, $E6, $OD, $31. Copy / Paste the running averages from the TunerPro RT BLM History Tables. Compared to other VE Fixers, the attached spreadsheet is simple to use and will get the VE about 90% ~ 95% accurate. The spreadsheet will work with freeware OpenOffice.org.:D

Thanks Dave!

Is this the same one you sent me when you were helping me with my tune?

No,
This one is improved!:D The cells all line up; TunerPro / Excel. This spread sheet includes the newer TBI PCM with separate Near Idle / Off Idle sheets. I've also improved the spread sheet with an averaged VE Table, which helps keep the new VE Table from Over Correcting!

The spreadsheet does not remove AE / PE or sort Open Loop / Closed Loop data. Before starting the recording of the data log make sure the the ECM / PCM is in closed loop. When driving and data logging, try to avoid AE / PE modes.

I posted some additional information on Thridgen.org about using the TunerPro RT History Tables vs. using Microsoft Excel. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/diy-prom/632134-427-tuning-excel-vs.html

Basically using Microsoft Excel is more accurate. I have advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, so I'm able to be more accurate with tuning E6, OD, OE, and 31 definitions using Excel. In all fairness, the TunerPro RT's History Tables are close enough for VE Tuning, as long as the data logging is done in closed loop and the AE / PE modes are not active when data logging. It's very important to use the "Running Average" to adjust the VE!

I can make a $85 VE Fixer. I'll post one soon.

Thanks!

One question. Since datamaster doesn't have a 45 kpa but the turning file does, any idea how you might fix this in your file? Or will I just need to fix that one row the old fashioned way?

I think it would be best to insert on column at a time.

I don't think TunerPro RT has a $85 .adx file? I'm not sure how the $85 VE Fixer is going to help without the History Table? Maybe you can copy past from DataMaster?

I have an adx file for the $85, well it's a converted file from version 4.

I made a mistake on the $85 VE Fixer. I removed the old file (that has the mistake) and replaced the file with a new version that has been corrected. Don't use the original $85 VE Fixer file!:eek1::eek1:

Thanks Dave.

I'm not sure if you noticed but you lost your first file attachment. The one will all the other fixes. :dunno:

I'd like to have a copy of both if you don't mind? I've never seen one. There's none available on TP website. I was going to start one from the origanal ALDL Datastream but you may have something better to start.

I will add a history table for you on the adx that mactches the VE in the adx and daves VE fixer.

Hey Mark,
Can you do an adx and history tables for the $4F definition (1228747)?
