I'm not sure if I'll be down Thrusday or Friday
Digging this back up since it's getting close. I almost got the rig ready to go....Getting the exhaust done this weekend and thats it for the big things. Anyone up for a night ride? I'm thinking about putting on some lights....Might just do it anyway, just in case.
David will ride at night, me I'm not such a fan
Right now our head count is 4 rigs. 3 rigs headed out thursday morning and I'm headed out friday after work. Camp sites have been reserved so we are locked in.

Who else is in besides us 5? BTW, Im taking 81S to exit 1 north (gate city) then running the 421 alternate over to 421. If anyone is coming from the north and wants to take a better road, ride down to I26 and run it back up to 421. There is a bypass to powell mountain in pennigton gap, but I can't remember it right off hand. Im trying to get ahold of 1-tonmudder, he knows all the ins and outs. I will post my results.
dude the location is black mountain off road park next weekend, you should read up before posting.

I have not a single pic (To busy having fun) I see if I can get Jay to post up something.
Well.....No one died.....But it was close a few times Friday night.
It was a good time with some good peoples. Only had five rigs there, which was a good in way because you could cover alot more ground that way.
We ran Thrus night till 11. On the way back to camp Tyler almost ran a cop into the the ditch cause his steering was so loose.
Fri morning worked on his truck ( A snapped bolt on the 60 front spring hold down ) Fri afternoon wheeled till David lost charging. did some battery swapping to get back to camp. Fixed his charging problem. Went back out wheeled till I broke my long side front axle shaft. Left my truck back at camp and jumped into Davids suburban, beat the
out of the trucks till about 11:30 that night. Then Tyler's truck snapped both the bolts and lost all but one leaves. Jay pulled into camp about that time, unloaded his truck and used his "New" trailer and tow rig to get the busted truck off the mountain..Got to bed some time around three amSat morning I swapped in my spare shaft ( Jay did most the work ) Tyler welded his truck back together. Wheeled till about 8:00.
All in all a great time. The weather was prefect. The wheelin was perfect. The company was perfect. And the beer was cold.......What more can you ask for.
Glad you guys had fun, and tore some stuff up.

Formud summed it up. Im still recovering today just completely exhausted. The only pictures I got where on the way down and the way back. I lost the roof of my truck somewhere around ronoake on 81. You can see in the 2nd picture.
