Harlan trails resemble Arkansas trails and are the reason I'm swapping in 1-tons for my 35s. Ground clearance is important but what's more important on wet moss covered rocks is being able to pound on the gas pedal without breaking parts.

Ive always wanted to make a trip through the lions den, probly make my poor scout look like a crumpled up tin can though. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to this "get together"

Oh and I voted for June as well. Gives me the best opportunity to make it.

Rig is still running right now. Would like to do the texas mod on my power steering pump so I can turn while braking. And I would like to get the 5.13's in.

I don't mind running the truck hard. I'll trailer it just so I can hammer down on the throttle. I just don't want to destroy the sheetmetal. Some trail pinstriping that's fine.

I hope it does too. It's been a good 4 years since I've been wheeling! I'm good with some basic trail riding and being a support rig.

Mines been down two years now. I feel your pain, it really sucks looking at it doing nothing but rusting further.

Mines been down for about 2 months, longest since I've owned it and its about to drive me nuts. I generally go wheeling at least once a month even if it's just a fire road.

Mines slowly coming together. Castor angle is next on the list.

I wish I could say the same.....I just started the tear down phase yesterday...Might actually start a build thread on it.

I've only had this rig out a couple of times this year. Now my other ride....( A Jeep )...... I've had out a lot, in fact I'll be running it tomorrow. It's a stock Rubicon, so the trails aren't as hard. But it does keep me out on the the trails wheelin. It's also nice having heat and a roof and not trailing.

Heading back out to the garage and warming up the Sawzall.:D

I won't know how long until I drive out the end again. How long did it take you and Jay? I can't go in April but.....maybe one of the later dates. I've got to do some work on my tow rig or find another way up there. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone but I've been working on my rig for the last two weeks......

If I could fit mine in the garage I would be doing good. Collecting parts right now. But I agree more effort towards my truck has been put to it then the last few years due to this thread also. I need something to motivate me.
