I've always wanted to check out Harlan! I'd probably be in one of the easier trail groups since it's a 5 hour drive for me (EDIT: looks like that's not a valid reason- not near as long a commute as some of y'all, LOL!), my wheeler is my DD, and (this may be the biggest issue, IMHO) since my truck is a big heavy pig that would be really difficult to extricate if was broken on the trail! (also, along that lines, some trails it may not fit on period, I've had that be an issue elsewhere)
Umm.... that is if a Dodge can tag along.... I kinda don't have a trail capable GM product at the moment. '12 Power Wagon on 37s.

Always been a fan of any automaker that will provide lockers front and rear with a winch as a factory option. Do you have some pics?

Sounds like a good time to call work and tell they you need to get some "Surgery" with about a weeks recovery the first week of June.

Taking off work is easy but of the 3 possible dates June is the one I can't do. Both of my daughters compete in Ms 4H horse shows, both district and state level comps are in June. :(

Ahhh, girls and their horses....Your done.....Been there, done that.:D

Exactly! Folks don't understand what it's like to hemorrhage money until you've played the horse game. This is why it's taken 10 years to finish my Blazer. LOL

I got mine running, have to do some more test driving to figure out the brake fluid leak from the master cylinder cap. After that I need to figure out what I'm doing trailer wise to get the rig there.

The 5.38s just arrived from Randy's, probably ordering the complete install kit for the front, and the pinion bearing kit for the rear axle next. Slowly coming together enough to be able to weld shock mounts on and mount the drivetrain whatever it ends up being.

It was been a great truck! The lockers, winch, and skidplates have gotten workout!

The first day I saw it brand new on the lot, when it had straight sheetmetal still, lol!

This pic is a few months old but, it looks about the same now. Gets a good bit of "personality" from wheeling on tight trails. LOL!

If I can actually get myself to build it instead of just bashing it into stuff, I'll start a build thread, lol!
