Which some how turned into almost 10 hours.
Finding diesel and buying parts on the fly can get interesting at times.

How'd your tent hold up from the guy launching onto it? :haha:
I spilled my coffee in the morning due to laughing so hard when we heard about it.

it was fine i was just laying in there and the next thing i knew there was someone laying on the side of my tent....i think i yell wtf???but that was my alarm clock so i wasnt really pissed...about halfway home i stopped to get something to eat and got about 30 miles down the road and threw it all back up...i think i got the flu or food posioning over the weekend...i fell like crap now...mabye it was eating nothing but hot dogs all weekend..

Gentleman, I'm kicking myself for not being able to make it up.

Julian, I'm very sorry to hear about your misfortunes. If I can help out, please let me know. (Also, PM me your phone number....I don't have it.)

Someone fell on Jay in the middle of the night?? That's too f*ckin' funny!!

What's the prize for traveling the farthest to get there? :p:

You got a 20% off coupon from extreme axle sales, its a shame you had to use it right away. that would have saved you a bunch when you bought Dedenbears.:doah:

I forget who's rig it is, but the olive green stepside seems to have real bad luck... Last time I read a thread with that truck, it had busted the steering knuckle clean off the king pin, now he flops it. What's left to break? :eek1:

That damage looks like a lot more than a "flop".....that looks like a complete roll! :eek1:

I sure hope there is a rollcage in someone's future. Seeing a roof caved-in like that should serve as a reminder that there are no guarantees that you won't get killed wheeling if something goes wrong.....and eventually something WILL go wrong.

There's no mention of injuries, so I'm assuming everyone was OK after that incident?? :dunno:

no one got hurt. Julian got very lucky.

basically he flipped the back end over the front and then rolled it on the passenger side to set it back on the wheels. It was really scary, probably the most violent thing I have ever seen in person. Everyone thought he was unconscious because when it came back on the tires he hit the gas and took off down the trail. turns out he was disoriented and was trying to hit the brakes.

I have been researching a cage and was planning on building it this fall. It has been moved up the priority list now. After seeing Patrick's design I have a much better idea of what I want to do. He kept the full dash and still managed to narrow the truck slightly.

well i am glad all is well and thank god julian's daughter was not with him.
i am sure she knows how to hold on, but its good she didnt have to go through it.
