Easy question, Th400 and th350, which has a lower first gear?

thx, but how come people say that a th400 will take a noticeable amount of power away compared to a th350? are they just talkin out their ass or what? i mean those numbers are pretty close.

Its because the 400 has more rotating mass. Bigger internal parts. You will most likely feel a difference in a small block motor, but a BBC will not.
Also, really its nothing to worry about. Unless you just want to go as fast as possible.
