I don't see many people talking about these in the front dana for DD. Are they a good choice?

The "1st Design" had design issues....

Supposedly a "2nd Design" incorporating a number of strength and reliability fixes was released, but I've never seen anyone talking about it.

FWIW, this is the locker I want to use for my D60.... I just don't want to be the guinea pig that spends $850 to find out if it's any good.

Well, I can tell you the Elockers for the 14b and 10b work great. The Dana Elockers are a different design due to the narrower carrier. Like Greg said, the first design ones had problems. Eaton pulled them from the market, and from what I heard they took care of the folks that had already purchased them. The ones out now are supposedly fixed.

When you say 14B are you referring to the semi-floater only or the full-floater??

I knew that they made a 14SF version (like the H2 gets from the factory) but don't recall ever seeing that they'd made a 14BFF version....

That would be sweet. I'd probably sell my Detroit and slap one of those suckers in....I've always preferred the street manners of an open diff over a locker.
