How come I don't see very many people running them?

I found a pair of 3/4 ton axles with 5.13 gears. Eaton rear and a 44 front. So I'm wondering why. Might be able to get them for around 300 dollars. He says they don't need to be rebuilt and he just wants to get rid of them.

Mostly just not as available as other models, D70, D70HD or a 14BFF. Not sure what the gear selelction is like with the eaton. Might want to check into that first.

It's already geared with 5.13's :D

4.10, 4.56, 5.13 factory. 3.90 are avaliable aftermarket. 14bolt disc brackets bolt on. Which reminds me I need to PM Kurt about some dual caliper ones for an Eaton my Bro has.

Some have factory Detroits :D . I'm kinda of a sucker for them. I get them for $100 at the local yard. I bought one with a 5.13 and a Detroit 2yrs ago for $50 :D . I was pretty excited.

3 widths 63" WMS,65" WMS and 70" WMS. 70" is real hard to find. Have one and need another.

edit: looks like it has discs already

don't see them much around these parts. The trucks that they were under have long since rusted to dust been crushed or ....

I have 2of them in the backyard. 1ton FF and half ton flavors. 4.10s and idk what the 1ton has.:p: thought about running them, but as asaid before.

lack of parts is waht kinda scared me away. I didnt really look too hard for them though...
