Ebay monster

Just curious where you got it only has 10 bolt axles ? It says it has 1 ton rear axle and 3/4 ton front..

I don't see where he/she has put no $12,000 bucks in to that truck.. Just buy reading the description of everything wrong with it it sounds more like $1200 :haha: .It might be worth $4000 if it runs good and has new 44 inch Boggers and the 454 and the 400 turbo is in good working order..

what the hell is the big plate on the side for?.......to add to crosswind wander? other than that it looks to be ok id like to see better pics of the STEERING though

correct me if I'm wrong, but is a 3/4 ton front not a 10 bolt. I know a 1 ton rear is a 14.

I was wondering that too, one pic it's there, one pic it's not. Maybe something to do with fooling the cops into thinking that is your frame (may have frame height law). :dunno:

a 3/4 ton front is a 10 bolt

edit: haha i just looked at it... i like the stance, but those side things are hilarious... :haha:

good luck finding a tow truck driver willing to haul that "TONKA TRUCK" :haha:

The guy that tow my rig with a 6 and 35's said he wouldn't do it again because of cg.

I ain't really gonna buy it  ........ just ran up on it when surfing ebay the other night. for that much money I could make my suburban a beast.

those plates may be thee to cover up the gap create by the body lift, thats all i can think of.

"towing might be difficult" hahahahhah nah u think?
" bought this truck in 1998 and have put about $12,000 into it since then."

he only has a 3" body lift though, with 12" susp... a 24" plate is a bit of overkill to cover the gap for a 3" BL...

If you look at the two pictures, it makes even less sense.

here is her response

I asked her how she spent the 12K. This is what I got.

katieshouse is the seller.

I included the money I spent on the engine and transmission (which are included if you want), and I also replaced the front and back axles with new gears and driveshafts, new wheels and tires (the tires are $500 each), fender flares, rebuilt the engine, replaced all the smog equipment, etc. The work was done at different places, and I did some myself. Hope that answers your questions.

I got it!!! The big metal plates on the sides under the body help channel air/wind for high speed stability!! :haha: Now...I am a California resident (live in Hollister) and I see trucks with 44" tires and 12" lifts all the time. And alot of 'em sure are purty lookin'!!!
