ebay of the day

8-71 ona 572? I can't see any huffer sticking out of the hood,much less carbs and bug catcher. Is the engine in the back or something?

I saw that truck at a car show in Oklahoma City back in the summer. The truck was :haha:, booger welds eveywhere, it looked like body filler was used to try and cover the welds before painting. There were a few cool parts on the truck, tires, motor less the blower, shocks and the seats.

:haha::haha::haha:

What I thought was funny was when he listed the features he put down things like CLOCK, INTERIOR HOOD RELEASE, and TOW PACKAGE. and don't forget the two tone paint. He also put down under the safety label; POWER BRAKES. :doah:

Must have taken a long time to air brush all that crap on....

Sweet fatty bumper gaps though!

It's interesting that he has all those $$$$$ invested, but no reserve price set. The bid is only at 10K and it is going to sell. The engine would be worth that much alone. If I had that kind of cash I would buy it strip it and junk it. Keep the engine and any useful parts (what few there are) and scrap the rest.

I'd buy that for a dollar!

But no more!:haha:Why would anyone do that to a K5? About the only good thing I can say: The paint guy is talented. But, too much randomness to the paint, need to pick one theme. Good gracious that thing is ugly! The speaker enclosure in the back looks just plain strange.:confused: Nice poop pipe chassis work and 6" body lift!:rolleyes:

My guess is he invested over a 100K and then realized it was completely useless. Hence the Garage Kept comment. You could never take it off road, it would get trashed, you couldn't drive it on the street in most states, as it is illegal. It wouldn't even make a good show truck with the ugly welds and poor finish quality.

the supercharger is the only thing i like about it...

Fixed it for you.

How did he fit a 572L engine under the hood? Isn't that 35,000cu?
