ECBB Day 1 recap

Yep, tire held up just fine. I stopped at the gas station and filled it the rest of the way and it held just fine. I really didn't want to think about replacing tires already

yea it was kick ass got there sat afternoon due to a brake line that got sherred in my garge (dont know how) but as we were getting there most of the guys were leaving so I just decide to hit the trails my self so went off and did upper 2, and wow that trail kick ass theres a nice 5 foot drop that ate the driver side sheetmetal, and right as we got up on 2 it started snowing and hard only for about 30min but a little wierd, cool and cold as **** without a top or doors, then head back to camp, sunday hit slickrock w/ keith,yield2me, 72thing, and timmay, which took forever an other k5 on 46s right before slickrock broke a slipyoke so we waited on him then e hit sliprock and rolled back down, then we hit slickrock w/out much trouble, keith pulled apart his driveshaft which was the only breakage and 72thing had to winch up it, then the last ledge on 2 was nasty nobody came close to making that thing evrybody winched, then off to 8 were they had a nasty mud hole w/ a 3-4ft mud wall at the end which every body winched again execpt keith it was off home, ill have pics shortly, I have a couple badass ones of yield2me on slick rock

Just got in...........................whew, great time!!!

Only saw the other guys once, couldn't keep up with the big boyz, as my wife hadn't ever been four wheeling before and screamed and hollered at the rockin' 'n rollin' truck. Did part of Fens Ford till I smacked a rock hard with the front diff. Decided to go round and started out Tellico River trail, met yeild-to-me and some of the other "Big Boy Toys" at the water crossing going the opposite way and couldn't keep up with them as my wife was pretty motion sick by then. We went out of the ORA to do some trout fishing on Copper Creek and some lunch at a waterfall. Came back in and went up Tellico River trail to the top where we met five Toyota's and instead of trying to follow them came back down. Shot some video on the way back down. Not as impressive on video as the actual hill! Extract a couple of pics from the video later. Spent the rest of the weekend with family around the area. Only problem other than missing paint and new dents in the underparts was a spray oil can that went off and "gassed us."

Glad to hear you made it home and not still stuck on the trail. Next time leave the wimmens behind and follow along ;)

On the way back down Tellico River trail hill toward the water crossing....extracted from video so it ain't the best quality.

Oh, I couldn't go without me wife, she worked almost as hard as I do on the Trucks! Almost forgot to ask her to run the camera.

My wife got so Motion sick I almost forgot I brought the cameras and Video camera. She did shoot about five minutes worth.

Anyone want to host it?

What size and format?

How big...........in megabites?

She should have rode with me, I lost my first rear shock before I got to the trail head then the other after the river crossing. Talk about bouncing around. Total, I had two rear shocks and a steering stab in the back of the blazer.

I just pulled in tonight at 6:30. I've got a few good pics but I'm gonna have to pull them off of a DV cam. Got a good shot of Bigpappa taking a nap under his blazer, claims he was pulling the starter. :D Weather was ****ty, I may have everything needed for trail repair in my box but I know one thing that will definately be going in. I've got to make room for a warm change of clothes, old jacket, thermals, more gloves and a toboggen (for some reason my head was very cold). :xmas: Sunday I played for about an hour on crawfords rock garden, that was pretty fun.

I wish the weather had been better so we all would have felt like gathering in the evenings but the cold just wore me out. Anyway I had a blast and I'm already planning a trip back.......in warmer weather.

Hey John you are going to Uhwarrie this weekend right!!!
