Echobit flip kit who makes one like it

echobit is the only one I've ever seen and we all know where that went. I don't think it a really great design myself.

Personally I like the ORD shackle flip. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I got one from him and so did a lot of my friends and other than the time, more than 50% didn't fit right or walked back and forth, so much for bolt on, welding it on fixed that.
Anyway, after seing the design, and the problems, I have a design that will work but I think it's easier and maybe cheaper to use stock rear spring front hanger in the back and a longer shackle.
Or just cut the bottom out and reinforce the top like many have done already.
I could say I can make you one, but I don't think I can assure timely delivery so I don't want to make the same mistake he did.
I can send you a design if you want to do it yourself.

I know a lot of people have had problems with the fit and finish of the echobit flip, but mine has been flawless for two years.

Yeah, I had to bang on mine a little bit w/ a hammer...but no worries...I love it and haven't had any problems so far!

I am in the midst of getting a patent on a similar flip kit. Mine is built better than the Echobit kit and I can have your order ready to ship in less than a week. They are made by a friend who owns a racecar shop, made of 1/4" steel precise bends, galv. sleeves, and grade8 hardware. Email me for info. [email protected]

any interest in just doing it yourself?
hacking the bottom outta the original shackle hanger, and dropping the shackle through...

im happy with mine, i've had it about 16 mths now

you could stop by and take a look at it some evening if you wanted

I dont know who makes one like it except for offroad design (although theirs is $185 and requires you to drop the gas tank and cut the rivets out of the frame to install it.) I can say that I have the echobit flip kit, and mine was almost perfect. All the welds looked nice, it bolted in perfectly, and I have had no problems whatsoeve with it. Too bad that Mike (the echobit owner) couldnt make them fast enough to meet the demand because it was a great idea and a cheap but effective way to do a rear lift.

Does anyone have a pic of the echobit flip? I have never seen one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

This is the Echobit flip w/ the extended shackle and reversed 57's.
