I looked all over the internet and I cant find them I know they went out of business but I figured someone would still have them ,but anyways I think I am just going to make one and I was wondering if anyone had some specs of the echobit flip. It looks easy to make just a triangle with three holes but what is a safe thickness to use.
Thanks

What's the difference between ORD's shackle flip, and echobit's shackle flip /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The echobit flip just extends the hanger down with bolts that go through the stock shackle mount. I was trying to get away from spending 100 bucks, that is why I wanted to make my own, It cant be that hard. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

hair over 4 " wide on top and 3 1/2 " wide on bottom. The bolts on top and bottom are 3 1/2 " apart and bottom bolt 1 1/2 " foward. The bolt where the spring attaches actually ends up in roughly same spot it was
here are some specs that a member gave to me so i could build my own too. Hope that helps.

What is wrong with the echobit style flip? It uses the stock rear shacke and hangar, so it is just a s strong as stock. Plus, the stock ones are pretty strong. I have the echobit flip in the rear and couldnt be happier with it. I jumped my truck really hard last week, and expected to find something broken. I was looking for a leaf broken on the springs or something, and I noticed my echobit flip was a little tweaked or something. Upon closer inspection I saw that not the shackle flip, but the bolt that holds to flip to the old hangar was slightly bent. Nothing to weaken it really or hurt anything, just a little bent. So that shows that the landing bent a GRADE 8 bolt, but didnt hurt the shackle flip. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
