I checked into the EP381 fuel pump. Edelbrock wants a 56GPH pump and 60psi (roughly) the EP381 only does 27GPH. This was another questions I ask them is if they had a pump recommendation to fit in the stock placement.
holley wast a 80gpm for the pump kit they sell you .

The ep381 has kept up fine on the sniper on my truck. Well beyond rpm 6872 will ever see

Talked to Peter with Edelbrock today. Very helpful and decent to talk to

I don't see where I posted it, but Peter is the guy that I talked to after I got it running. He was good to talk with IMO as well.

just a heads up for others searching .

if i added up the sniper / intake manifold / dist / and other stuff then the time and energy to make it all play together i should have just went with this combo from the start . same basic money and its a all matched system from 1 place .

when i do my big block she will almost for sure be getting one of these setups .

That's why I went this route. I believe that it's going to be good. Still don't have many miles on it, but it's still improving.
I still haven't verified my fuel pressure is good at WOT. I was too busy goofing around with other stuff.

1 thing i am not to fond of is the fuel rail inlet/outlet locations up front . can they be swapped front to back for a cleaner look ?

Does this control fans and stuff too? I see you mentioned fuel pressure, does it give you that as well?

For the cost involved I would expect it to be a better system than the Sniper or FiTech. The reality is those are meant to be quick and simple carb replacements. The old saying goes, you get what you paid for.

I am fairly confident that they can. I thought about, and decided to not clutter the back of the engine more than the wiring was already going to. I was also not convinced that I could keep the lines protected off of the back of the engine, by the pinch weld, for good. And I now that the braided lines that I used could rub wiring quickly.
If I had done this system from the first when I put the truck together, maybe I would have made the changes. A 2wd would give more room at the rear of the engine, too.

Its same or less than the others once you factor distributor and intake

Yes , it has dual , separate fan controls.
And yes, it should be better than the "carb swap" style injection, but I still say that time will tell. There are very few things in the world that will make me swear by them quickly. I hope that this system serves me well.

I wish you’d drive the thing so we can get results

honestly at this point with my dealings with them as you guys have seen in my other post i would sell this in a heart beat if i got 3/4 or more of my money back from it . its all new stuff even the dist has less than 3hr run time .

i am just so un happy with the level of customer service from them on there official chat forum that i could care less if its a good system . GOOD customer service goes a long way and i sure got the short end of the stick on this one .

Yeah, yeah...
The 7 miles each way to work doesn't give me enough time to play, and I need to help it with WOT learning by mashing the pedal!
And try not to get into trouble..

Re bent

And yes I want more feedback first.
The guys on the Edelbrock forum also seem to be less turd like than guys on other manufacturers forums
