A TBI pump will be fine. They are designed to feed appx 10-15 psi, though they will deadhead much higher
regulator on the return, set it to appx 6 psi

That’s what I did on my k5 before the broflow, just remember to adjust fuel pressure when you change altitude. Sea level to Moab makes it run pig rich.lol

I do get nervous too. I had to trail run the crew cab for a while with a single 20gal saddle tank. Only ran out of fuel once and that was on a long day if snow bashing. That did motivate me to get the other tank operational.

The daily driver c10 has a single 20 gallon tank. I never worry about running out of gas just have to do weekly fill-ups.
Weekly fill-up on a 20 gallon?
I fill up my 40 gallon twice a week, sometimes eery 2 days

Everything I can find shows 1/2" fuel line needed for 550 hp with a 46 GPH (175 LPH) pump. I would not want fitting smaller than 1/2" (-8) if I was designing the system. What you may be finding is the limitation of the stock sending unit arrangements. There is a reason for fuel cells in race cars.

This one comes with -8 AN fittings:

Haha I didn't think so Ice but it sure would be nice ! I'm trying to figure out how to run dual internal pump tanks with my EFI if even possible... That will be a separate thread...

Found this from Quantum Fuel Systems.

If i recall 40gal is just longer of the 31gal .

Looks like 1 diget off on part #'s 31 to 40 gal on stock from rockauto

That is why I was asking about the one @pomai posted. It likely only fits the one size unless it is adjustable for length and float range.
