Eileens 79 Corvette resurrection. It survived 1450miles on Power Tour

No it doesn't, the spendy gas is always the oldest, and probably the most contaminated.

As for the Holley acting up after 5 days, they used to need the bowls tightened after a few heat cycles. Would run rich until tightened down.

Good trip Wade, glad you were mostly trouble free!
So with the carb running good, time for another pass at the strip?

1.6 seconds slower buuut when you consider it’s at 17.6 mph slower doesn’t seem too bad at all

Yeah, just make it reliable and comfortable…keep her happy in it!

Parked the car in the shop last night, over a clean drip pan. Looking for any new leaks.

So I ordered a 16" diameter fan to put in at the same time. Leaving the stock fan in also. New fan will be AC triggered and an override inside somewhere.

After I painted it, I noticed that. My memory is so bad, I'm not sure what the car needs. It's in the other garage, so I haven't looked.

Checked the part number from the box. It is listed for this car. Looked at the car, yep, correct one. The upper brackets for the Alternator and AC pump, come off of the top water pump bolts.

Wait till Jr gets home so he can help with any heavy lifting, I am guessing since a new 16" elec fan is being added it will be in front ?
