electric fans

And electric fans should also have a static pressure number along with a cfm rating. Not hard to push/pull a lot of air into air. It takes a lot more work to push air into a confined space such as a radiator or trans cooler. So CFM numbers on the fans should be used only with a static pressure rating.
I had a fan like the first one up there on my truck when I bought it. It was quiet and moved a lot of air...until I left a ratchet extension on the belt tensioner and fried one of the fans out.
Don't forget about Mishimoto when you're looking for radiators. Lifetime warranty even covers if you crash the truck.

Nothing wrong with replacement plastic tank radiators. You can pick them up anywhere and replace if needed. I think my rad and Windstar fans are from Spectre. I don’t remember. Total for both was under $300 shipped from RockAuto. Recommended 1000x over any Griffin product. Way quieter too.

I went electric because the mechanical wouldn’t flow enough with serious rock crawling and climbing. It also helps when there’s a body lift involved.

I have a brand new Windstar fans WITH the pigtails that I can make you a good deal on. I can get it shipped out to you if I can find the box.

Four Seasons Fan Assembly 75300
The fan setup was $103 new, plus another $30 in pigtail connectors.
I'll sell it for $80 shipped

And whatever you do... don't bolt on a flex fan if you occasionally drive thru deep water.
They become very efficient propellers underwater and screw themselves right into your expensive 4 core brass and copper radiator.

Ask me how I know!

Plus engine masters proved they cost a bunch of power.
