I hate my electric windows! My drivers side motor is out for a second time! I have a '90 Blazer, how do I change over to manual windows? Is there a step by step write up anywhere? Thanks for any and all help!

I'm looking to do the exact same thing. I want a FOR SURE reliable way to roll my d*mn windows down. It would be awesome to find a step-by-step on this one. HELP!

It's an easy job. Scrounge up a set of manual window regulators then unbolt all the electric regulators and replace them with the manuals.

x2....You can buy all the parts you need from LMC if you can't scrounge them up elsewhere. One of the switch holes is in the perfect spot for the crank too...:D

Awesome. So all we need are the manual window regulators and the 'roll-up' handles. Also, how do I make the back window manual? I would think this would be next to impossible just because you would have to get in the back and unroll it before you could pull the tailgate down. Is this correct? Did any model year come with a manual rear window? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm a Blazer Newbie. My Blazer won't let me open the tailgate until the window is down a bit.

As stated switching the front power regulators to manual is a direct bolt-in job. Any service manual (Haynes, Chilton, etc...) will show R&R'ing regulators.

Pretty sure that K5's were offered with manual rear windows on some models. If I remember correctly there is an assembly on the rear tailgate (where you currently just put the key in to unroll the window) that folds out into a crank handle???

IIRC ALL blazers up until 1977 had a manual rear window then starting in 1978 electric rear window was an option. Once again, remove all the electric regulators and replace them with the manual regulators and also you need to replace the electric switch assembly (center of gate) with the manual handle assembly.
