The Willomet Charger

A desecration to Mopar nuts everywhere, this is my protouring, LS-powered, 1970 Dodge Charger; built at my shop, Willomet Motor & Fabrication.
This much fun is usually illegal.

Getting #7 forward has implications for how close #5 had hug the block. The same is true for the even side. There seem to be several options for getting the back cylinders to hop forward and double back to the collector while maintaining a path to the plugs and an air gap around the plug boots.

Can you go out and back without going down and then up and then back? Flipping directions that many times that close is not ideal, even with mandrel bends.
 
You could use a boat fitting, woth a high temperature drain hose.
1/2 x 20 I am sure they make metric sinse ls are now in boats

Depending on where you put the slip connection you could go around the steering shaft with #1 or #7 and gain more options.

Also, that's one limit with the test fit pieces, what are the increments for those angles, 15 deg, 22 deg?

It may fit better with 17 degrees or 70 degrees for example but then you either need way too many puzzle pieces or you are back to just sneak up on it with the real metal angle cuts.

Aeroquip quick connect is incoming, and should just fit in this gap

You mean you don't want to drain oil over your cheap Flowtech headers and get stains when it's hot? why not? ;):bow:

I think 7 is the one that will go around the steering shaft. I don’t like the up and over nearly as much. The crossovers hug tight enough that I think I’ve kept enough of those options open to keep the tubes (and hopefully the heat) lower.

The test pieces do have limitations. They’re only in two radii and move in 22.5* increments, so I compensate by building only a few inches at a time and taping a test piece to the end of that and building another few inches.

Yeah, oil stained ceramic gold is not on my mood board.
