I've just never really like the convoluted tubing, especially for use with just a couple of wires. You have a good point about some of the stuff soaking up moisture, but I think the only place I'd really use it is in the engine compartment and under the dash. Those are the areas that really start to look bad with tons of wiring running here and there.
